《阿斯报》指出，对于恩德里克来说，接下来的国王杯比赛已经不再是一场日常的比赛，对于他来说几乎就是一场生存之战。这个赛季对他来说很不利，至今只出场了160分钟，大部分时候都是枯坐板凳，最近的一场还是在12月14日对阵巴列卡诺，那场比赛他出战了11分钟，但出现了几次防守疏忽，安切洛蒂对此并不满意。
杯赛实际上对于恩德里克来说是目前扭转局面的唯一支撑，而米内拉这样的西乙球队理论上是一个“友好”的对手。如果本轮恩德里克不是作为主力出战，而皇马又晋级了，那么他在下一轮的存在感将大打折扣。
目前为止，皇马和恩德里克本人的意图并不在在冬窗外租至赛季结束。
